SAP TREASURY BANKING FUNCTIONAL ANALYST MANAGER (HQ Columbia, MD)


Summary: The SAP Treasury Banking Functional Analyst Manager analyzes and evaluates data processing problems and assesses the computing needs and system requirements of the corporate banking client to implement, improve and transform the abstract into a technical business model that our team of engineers can then implement to meet the IT needs of the banking industry. The SAP Treasury Banking Functional Analyst’s primary task is to work with the software engineers to customize business systems and recommend software improvements with a thorough comprehension of the particular financial instruments, business environment, and the needs of the banking client, as well as have vast knowledge of financial management information systems that are required by money management institutions.

Job Duties:

  • Analyze the existing organization financial and banking structure, current business processes and new business financial requirements.
  • Coordinate with managers, Treasurers, Banks and financial institutions to achieve synergy, high performance results, quality deliverables and sustainable systems.
  • Drive solution options, assessing risks, merits, and business impacts to determine the best solution which meets Organizational goals.
  • Responsible for configuration of Transaction Manager & General Settings (Money Market, Derivatives, Forex, Bonds and Securities), Credit Risk Analyzer, Cash and Liquidity Management, SAP Banking Loans Management i.e from the Product Type till Account determination.
  • Examine the banking client’s existing controlling, investment management, accounting and treasury processes.
  • Document gap analysis and recommend new and additional functionalities and financial modeling solutions to better manage finance requirements.
  • Actively involved in project planning and review project timelines, requirement gathering, Preparing Design documents, testing to go-live, ensuring successful deploying the solutions in deadlines.
  • Advise engineers in the creation of utility programs for the banking industry to upload master and customer financial data from the old system to the new.
  • Play a key role in selecting / on boarding consultants, ABAP and SAP Fiori UI developers and responsible for managing consultants work and signing off on their deliverables.
  • Responsible for implementing enterprise finance and treasury solution with SAP S4 Hana cutting edge software to achieve enterprise strategic capabilities
  • Responsible for advising engineers in integrating other systems with SAP for Market data, financial instruments and trade data of financial markets.
  • Analyze user financial needs to create new reports to increase the efficiency and productivity of the customer staff.
  • Develop the processes in TRM area to increase the operating efficiency of back office, mid office as well as front office.
  • Responsible for delivering financial instruments Enhancements and Functional Specifications designs for enhancing the functionality with in SAP Treasury and Banking modules and for customized report and processes for client needs.
  • Responsible for rollouts of Treasury and Risk Management functionality to other territories/company codes and countries.
  • Provide technical leadership in the design, and development of Treasury SAP capabilities by staying abreast of new SAP releases and advanced technology changes.
  • Required to create financial SAP manuals for the end users training in banking industry. Must work with SAP Financial Controller and Accounting Lead for solving TPR (Test Problem Report) raised during end user testing and training.
  • Manage support tickets after the banking/financial project goes live.


EDUCATIONAL AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must possess master’s degree in Business Finance, Management Information Systems or related field (or foreign equivalency), plus 3 years of experience with the following modules which may be gained concurrently:

  • SAP Securities, Loans, Equities, Investments
  • Treasury Risk Management and Financial Supply Chain Management
  • SAP Loans, Payments and Purchases
  • Credit Risk Analyzer

Employer pays for short-term travel or long-term relocation to unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. is required. This is not a telecommuting job. Benefits. $217K per year
